（オリジナルの製品とはまったく似ていませんでした。）

「look like」は、「～のように見える」という意味です。例えば、友達が有名人に似ているときなどに用いられます。

類似の表現として「seem like」という表現もあります。

「look like」は外見に焦点を当てていますが、「seem like」は印象に焦点を当てています。例えば、「He looks like he’s tired」と言うと、その人の顔つきが疲れている様子を表現しています。一方、「He seems tired」と言うと、その人が疲れている印象を受ける、という意味になります。
