Why don’t you go ahead without me?

go ahead は、特定の行動をすることを許可するという意味で使われるイディオムです。直訳すると「前へ進む」という意味になりますが、実際には「どうぞ続けてください」「始めてください」「やってみてください」という意味になります。

堅苦しい表現としても使いますが、例えば、友達があなたにアドバイスをくれたときに、 go ahead と言って続けてもいいという意味で使うこともできます。その他にも、会議でアイデアを提案する際に、他の参加者から go ahead と言われれば、そのアイデアを実行することが許可されたことを意味します。

類似の表現としては、「proceed」「carry on」という表現があります。これらも「続ける」「進む」という意味で使われることがあります。
